This article presents a model developed in MATLAB/SIMULINK, for the control of the vehicle’s air conditioner compressor with a PWM signal. This signal is used to control the solenoid valve of the compressor. The model was created to allow in the future the study of the compressor’s behavior in different operating conditions of the vehicle to improve the functioning of the internal combustion motor and optimize the efficiency of the air conditioner system. The model will be converted to a software script to be used in the car together with the AutoBox from dSpace.en_US
