The paper presents the studies regarding the process of ammonium ions elimination from water using the method of ion exchange. The best conditions of the process are established, conditions that allow the achievement of a maximum separation degree of the ammonia ions, respectively the realization of a minimum residual concentration. Studies on the ion exchange process have as target the establishment of the chemical composition and the thermal influence. The target of the studies on ion exchange process is also to establish the retention degree.en_US
