dc.description.abstract | For visually impaired people the hear sense replace the seeing sense. To help people moving in an unstructured environment in the real world we try to make a 3D virtual audio reality. The mostly used method are HRTF (Head Related Transfer Functions), a set of audio filters. A simulation model in Matlab demonstrates the possibility to tell visually impaired people where is the obstacles. We use the simulation to make a man-machine interface, which is part of a big project to guide these people to walk and work in the real world. | en_US |
