dc.description.abstract We present a comparison of two feature selection methods for face recognition: Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). We assume that the classifier is a neural system called Concurrent Self-Organizing Map (CSOM). The ORL Database of Faces is used for testing the above mentioned cascade. The experimental results are given. en_US
