dc.description.abstract This application solve numerically a steadystate groundwater problem in which the aim is to calculate steady-state H distribution along a twodimensional hill slope. A clear improvement in efficiency of iterative methods is obtained if we use the newly computed values in the Gauss-Seidel iteration. Gauss-Seidel iteration method can be further be improved by increasing the convergence rate using the method of SOR (Successive Over Relaxation). en_US
