dc.description.abstract This paper describes the implementation of data structures based on data acquisition of active optical range sensors. At first, three available industrial laser sensors are introduced and compared exemplarily. Based on the raw data structure of these sensors an abstract data structure and the possibility of the evaluation of depth information are presented. Finally industrial applications are presented which are using the introduced data structure. en_US
