Abstract:
Exhaust system successfully implemented for the ISHO Living project in Timisoara (a residential complex on Bega’s shore where the tallest building in Timisoara is being built, with 20 floors, and the groundwater level is high). In order to evacuate the site water, so that the land on which the development of ISHO Living is being built to be a safe one with adequate working conditions, an exhaust system was implemented, designed and monitored. In the first phase, the project required a geotechnical study and a hydrogeological study. The hydrogeological study was performed with experimental pumps used to design a scheme from which to result foundations realized in dry areas. The geotechnical study was prepared in order to establish the stratification, the physical-mechanical characteristics of the land in the active area and the founding conditions for the block construction with the height regime of B + Gf + 20 F / B + Gf + 4F. The entire depletion plant (boreholes, pumps) has been dimensioned so that the groundwater is kept at least 30 cm below the digging quota in the foundation pit. In order to achieve the evacuation of groundwater, a number of 13 holes were dimensioned at a depth of 12 m, respectively 16 m.
