dc.description.abstract Railways in the world are facing increasing competition with other transport facilities like electric cars, electric buses, freight trucks and aircraft. By using digital interfaces to electromagnetic relay-based block automation section or electronic interlocking system like LZB control center from Alcatel-Cegelec, the East European Union Railways must manage the whole long-distance traffic in his whole railway network and the upgrade software program is demanding the hardware part installation. en_US
