dc.description.abstract |
The present study aims to examine an issue pertaining to the precision of viscosity measurements crucial to the rubber processing industry within the Western side of Romania, where viscosity is being tested using the PREMIER™ MDR MOVING DIE RHEOMETER by Alpha Technologies. Control charts have raised the alarm regarding the consistency of the analysis results, and therefore a root cause analysis has brought to light a mechanical issue of the rheometer for which a solution has been proposed and implemented. Ultimately, the study shows the enhancement of the viscosity quality testing from the initial state identified until the actual situation, after action was implemented and proven to be efficient. |
