Abstract:
The rapid expansion of technology has significantly transformed the way specialised terminology is acquired, processed and interpreted by learners. Rather than functioning solely as a static system, terminology reflects socially constructed meanings, technology-based structures and cognitively grounded mechanisms of concept formation and interpretation. Drawing on contemporary theories of terminology acquisition and digital literacy, the present study highlights how digital tools such as platforms, multimedia resources and interactive applications enable learners to grasp and use domain-specific terms.
