This application solve analytically and with optimization algorithms a function minimization using the gradient method. To build a model for a real groundwater system it is necessary to solve both the forward problem and a so called inverse problem. Two optimization algorithms methods exist: indirect and direct method. In this paper only the indirect method is used to solve actual problems.en_US
