This paper represents an investigation of the wavelet based multi-carrier modulation performance in flat fading channels. The fading envelope is distributed according to a Rayleigh probability density function. BER performance of the multicarrier wavelet method is computed and analyzed against the classical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) case, in various scenarios with respect to the Doppler shift influence and to the noise level.en_US
