Translation across the difficulties of equivalence concept [articol]

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to discuss the concept of Equivalence across the translation process from English to Arabic, and its different relationships with linguistic aspects. The discussion presented in this study will also show that equivalence is one of the vital issues in translation studies that cannot be ignored or underestimated. The cultural differences between English and Arabic are discussed along with the relationship between the nature and function of equivalence.
