Abstract:
Dynamic analysis of the phase-shift controlled series-resonant inverter for induction heating is presented using harmonic approximation modeling. First, the large-signal state-space model is derived and steady-state solution is obtaining. Finally, large signal equations are linearized about the steady-state equilibrium point to derive a linear small-signal model, which is used to study the small signal dynamic behavior of the resonant inverter. The results are verified using PSPICE.
