dc.description.abstract The paper presents some results of the experiment the authors carried out starting from the descript ion of literary translation competence in the PETRA E European framework. It focuses on the assessment of the sub competences that are required in the translation process itself, as they are demonstrated by some post graduate translation studies students w hose task was, among others in the larger experimental project, to render O.
