Abstract:
Objectives of the thesis:
to introduce a novel linear permanent magnet oscillatory machine;
to develop electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical finite element
analysis;
to implement a optimal design program based on FEM derived
data;
to implement an open-loop control of the purposed linear machine;
to introduce FEM based position estimators for sensorless closed
loop control purposes;
to implement a sensorless position closed loop control of the
purposed linear machine.
