Abstract:
In this paper, the author examines the co-evolution of human and machine translation within the field of economic journalism. Employing a comparative analysis of the pre-translation phase of economic news, integrating artificial and human intelligence, this research investigates the evolving role of human translators. The findings indicate that while AI-based translation systems have made substantial progress in handling economic terminology and time-sensitive content, human intervention remains indispensable for ensuring accuracy, preserving contextual meaning, and managing complex economic discourse. Furthermore, the study highlights the translator’s shift from traditional linguistic mediation to post-editing and strategic decision-making in the pre-translation phase of economic news.
